All the rooms are well furnished with traditional Sikkimese furnitures like Choksay (table) and the ceilings are painted in the traditional ---Sikkimese art work. (commnt on meanin/backdrop of art work)

  • a) The pink room – The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing. Pink is a sign of hope. It is a positive color inspiring warm and comforting feelings, a sense that everything will be okay.

    Pink calms and reassures our emotional energies, alleviating feelings of anger, aggression, resentment, abandonment and neglect.

b) The Green room – The color green is the color of balance and harmony. From a color psychology perspective, it is the great balancer of the heart and the emotions, creating equilibrium between the head and the heart.

From a meaning of colors perspective, green is also the color of growth, the color of spring, of renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. It is the sanctuary away from the stresses of modern living, restoring us back to a sense of well being.

  • protection from fears and anxieties connected with the demands of others


c) The Blue Room – The color blue is one of trust, honesty and loyalty. Blue seeks peace and tranquility above everything else, promoting both physical and mental relaxation. It reduces stress, creating a sense of calmness, relaxation.

d) The Mint Room – Mint green, as well as all other shades of green are often related to nature. It is considered a cool color and is also a color that our eyes are very used to from seeing it all around us. Green is the color of nature, symbolizing growth, freshness and fertility. Mint green is linked to peace


The Family Block –

Just above main dinning is the family block. This one-of-a kind room is a modern interpretation of the traditional clay or locally known ‘icra’ houses found in the villages of Sikkim.


The New Block –

this block built in the late nineties consists of 6 rooms. Each room has its own private balcony overlooking a magnificent view of the majestic range of the Kanchenzonga Mountains.
